Aura Guignard. The story behind the clothes.

I graduated in Industrial production design with a diploma from Rajamangala University of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Phranakhon Rajabhat University, but I never worked as a production designer. lol…
I have worked as an interior designer for more than ten years in Bangkok until I married and moved to Switzerland.

I started sewing by repairing my husband’s torn pants. Actually, he would like me to design comfortable and strong climbing pants for him. My mom-in-law also complained that the finished garments in the market do not fit her so well, so I started to let my mind wander around.

I want to thank both of my universities for teaching me to design, to think differently, to be myself, and to try to stand out as a unique individual.

I went online late almost every evening to find answers, investigate pattern making, sewing techniques to make pants, and more. It opened my eyes to the magnificent fashion world.

As a designer, I am now athirst to design all the fancy stuff that comes out of my head. This was the beginning of the Aura Atelier de Couture.
