How to Eco-print on paper with the logwood blanket [ENG SUB]

🌿 How to Eco-Print on Paper with the Blanket
I’ve always loved the magic of natural colors — how leaves, flowers, and bark can whisper their shapes onto fabric or paper. Eco-printing is one of those slow, beautiful processes where nature becomes your collaborator. 💛
Today, I’d love to share how to eco-print on paper with a blanket method — a technique that gives deeper, softer imprints and lets you work with delicate plants.
What You’ll Need:
Material and equipment.
- 7 grams of alum mixed with warm water 250 ml (in a glass jar).
- A wide container for adding alum water to dip the paper.
- Card paper, drawing paper.
- Cans or glass bottles for wrapping paper.
- Rope or strips of fabric for tying.
- Barrier material, I used the fabric in this video.
- Tablecloth.
- Logwood water.
- A steam boiler, (size should be big enough).
- Of Course and the leaves.
For the logwood water, you just boil it in the water with low heat for 1h. You can probably guess, the “how-to” from the video. It takes about 90 minutes to steam.
Tutoraial:
Eco-printing is slow art — full of discovery, patience, and a sense of gratitude toward nature. Every print is one-of-a-kind, a little poem written in color and shape.
If you try this method, I’d love to see your creations! You can tag me or share a photo — it’s always inspiring to see how nature speaks through each of us. 🌿💌
Enjoy😊💕☀️
