Men’s clothing is always a creative challenge for me. For this project, I wanted to design a simple yet unique shirt with a clean, refined aesthetic. I spent several days thinking, sketching, and experimenting — until the idea finally unfolded into something stylish and full of character.

Designing men’s clothing has always been an exciting creative challenge for me. For this project, I wanted to make a simple yet distinctive shirt with a clean, refined aesthetic. After several days of brainstorming, sketching, and sewing a few prototypes, I finally arrived at a design that feels both fresh and stylish.
The name I chose, “Akira,” was the first Japanese word that came to mind — and it beautifully reflects the spirit and clarity of this piece.

You will receive the following files in PDF format:
- Akira shirt description file for A4 paper.
- A4 paper Print at home file.
- US Letter Print at home file.
- Copy Shop A0 paper file.
- Copy Shop 36” roll file.
Please note: The pattern doesn’t have multiple sizes on one sheet. You need to select the pages to print according to the Table of contents. For A4 and US letter has about 19-26 sheets, A0 has 1-2 sheets, and 36″ roll has 1 sheet.

- Midweight woven or knit fabric, width 1.4 m or 56″. Length of fabric: See Measurements chart.
- Thread in matching color.
Sizes:
- 7 sizes = XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL.
- The chest circumference of the finished garment is from 99 to 137 cm or around 39” to 54”
- Length from back neck to hem from 72 to 80 cm or around 28.3″ to 31.5″Shoulder wide from 40.7 to 50 cm or around 16″ to 19.6″ See Measurements chart.
