Gabriella Top! A cross-front top PDF sewing pattern with sewing tutorial size 3XS-XL featuring Lagenlook

The Gabriella Top was born from a simple question I received after the Gabriel Jacket became beautifully loved:
“Do you have something easier to sew, but with the same charm?”

So I set out to create a sweet, oversized pullover — something soft, comforting, and wonderfully easy to make. A piece that carries the spirit of the Gabriel Jacket, but flows in its own gentler, simpler way.

Gabriella is all about ease and elegance.
Its long sleeves and graceful cross-front shape give it a quiet, feminine presence, while the oversized silhouette makes layering effortless and movement beautifully free. It’s the kind of top you slip on for a relaxed morning, an afternoon of creating, or a cozy evening at home — always comfortable, always welcoming.

And because I wanted this piece to follow the rhythm of the seasons, I added a turtleneck option as well. With that small change, the Gabriella transforms into a warm, sweet pullover — perfect for crisp autumn air, winter strolls, or any day when you want to wrap yourself in something gentle and handmade.

A simple request sparked its creation,
but the Gabriella Top has grown into
a soft, oversized companion for free-spirited makers everywhere.

Pattern info:

AURA: SP-229 Gabriella Top

Sizes:

• 7 sizes =3XS, 2XS,  XS, S, M, L, and XL
• ​​This pattern is available in just 7 oversized sizes. While it may appear to be one size fits all, I wanted to provide you with additional options.
• The bust circumference of the finished garment is from 109 to 210 cm or around 43″ to 82″ See Measurements chart.
• Top length from shoulders to back hem, 54 to 66 cm or around 21″ to 26″ See Measurements chart.
• Compare your bust measurements to the Measurements chart and choose the size. The size of the finished garment should be bigger than your bust size depending on your preference.
  *Remember Gabriella is an oversized style.

You will receive the following files in PDF format:

• Gabriella Top description file for A4 paper.
• A4 paper Print at home file.
• US Letter Print at home file.
• Copy Shop A0 paper file.
• Copy Shop 36” roll file.

Please note: The pattern doesn’t have multiple sizes on one sheet. You need to select the pages to print according to the Table of contents. For A4 and US letter has about 17-31 sheets, A0 has 1-3 sheets, and 36″ roll has 1 sheet.

1. Midweight woven or knit fabric, width 1.4 m or 56″. Length of fabric: See Measurements chart.
2. Thread in matching color.
